Meet with Maina ......!!
My name is Maina (Name Changed) and I am 30 years old. I live with my husband in the small village. I am from the typical traditional community, so I faced many restrictions right from the beginning. Somehow I completed my education, after which I was married. My dream was to become a teacher after taking higher education but that could not happen. After marriage, I was imprisoned in housework and boundary walls. I also have a girl who has a serious problem. My girl has a hole in her heart and it costs a lot of money to get treatment. We started becoming financially weak. I too needed employment but my exit to the village was not possible.
I was given an opportunity by the RSKS organization. The organization surveyed for the school in our village and appointed me as a teacher. There was no place for my happiness to hear this. I was given the responsibility of the education of 30 girls in the school. Due to Covid-19, I taught girls in a group of 10 -10, during which my daughter's problem also dominated me. I taught in school with my daughter in my lap so that studies in the school could not be interrupted. As a teacher, I gave all kinds of education to girls and took regular tests.
I am greatly supported and encouraged by the RSKS Organization. I follow all the rules and guidelines of the organisation. The organization gave me permission that I can run the school with the child and maintain it. The girls of my school are getting regular education and at the same time they are getting the opportunity to participate in discipline, rituals and sports activities. I thank the organization for this, as it is giving a boost to the girl child education and educating the girl child in our village.
