We at RSKS India deliver our best to improvise the condition the marginalized and deprived communities and all the RSKS India team members are committed towards impact. From time to time we see the impact stories from ground through our feedback forms. One of these wonderful Beneficiary's story is shared with you through this report.
Mesmerizing Story Of Reema......!!
My name is Reema (Name Changed) and I study in class 7th of a rural school. I live with my parents and a younger brother in a small village far away from the city. My father is a farmer and my mother goes to work in daily labour. During the covid-19 period my family was struggling to meet the household expenses as everything was stopped and my father had to take money from others in order to meet the house expenses. When this all got over then our schools opened and I got into a new class but what I didn’t had was the education materials which I needed. I tried to talk with my parents but whenever I tried to say something, I always realized that they are working very hard to repay the money taken and also meeting the household expenses at the same time.
At this crucial moment, RSKS team members came to my school and asked our principal madam to talk about the students who are intelligent as well as are facing education materials problems due to poor financial background. I was also called in that survey and I told RSKS team members about where I live and then they came to my house to meet my parents and know about our real situation. After that they came back after few days in school and called all the girls who were selected during the survey and gave us Hygiene kit and Education Material Kit. RSKS team members took care of the social distancing, wearing masks etc. essential covid-19 protocols during the distribution work. Then after few days, RSKS Team members came back at our house asking about the feedback of the materials given.
My family told the RSKS team members that they are very happy with everything they gave to me as they also knew that I was having some problems but they were not able to look after it because they had to also solve some bigger problems. I was very happy as in the education material geometry box, pens, pencils, rubber, sharpner, notebooks, school bag, drawing book, sketch book etc were given to me and in the hygiene kit hanky, sanitizers, soap, cloth masks etc were given to me. Now I can study without any worries and I will do my best in my exams. Me and my parents thank RSKS India from bottom of our heart for such a wonderful relief provided in the shape of Hygiene Kit and Education Material Kit.
