Educational Stuff Support to 1200 Rural Girls

By Team | RSKS India

Respected Donor !

Warm Greetings from RSKS India Family ......

There are many school going girl children who have to drop out of school due to many reasons and the most prominent one is this that their parents do not have sufficient funds to pay for the girl child’s education or they prefer the boy’s education over the girls. This is the worst situation as the girl has to drop out from school due to these reasons. Education is the right of every children whether it be boy or girl but is often seen especially in the rural villages that the girl child education is not preferred as the conservative thinking of the rural people thinks that it is wastage of money because the girl will go to someone else house after getting married. However it is not the real, as if these girls will get chance to education then a better and more understanding society would be created through the education.

In this context, RSKS India organized the Education for Every Girl Project under which Education& Hygiene Materials Distribution Program was organized at more than 85 different rural schools. This program distributed education kit (school bag, registers, pencil, pen, notebook, drawing book plain, drawing book sketch, geometry box etc) and hygiene kit (Sanitary napkin, handkerchief, bathing soaps etc) were provided to 1200 rural school girls for their education support. Along with the distribution work, all the children were also explained about the hygiene and education materials so that they could use them in a better way. Also the notebooks of RSKS India contained a very special message (oath) of ending child marriage, cleanliness and gender equality which all the girls read and took oath through it. The whole program was done with the support of the school administration and the social distancing was kept in mind while doing the whole program. After some days, the feedback was also taken from the children and their parents.

The Education & Hygiene Materials Distribution Program of RSKS India secured a year’s education material of rural 1200 girl children. Now these girls are able to study without having any problem in their education material supply. These girls will get education and will secure good marks in future which is itself a major success of this program. The girls will be able to have safe and secure menstruation by the sanitary napkins provided under the hygiene kit of RSKS India. The girls will also be able to adopt healthy and hygienic practices through the hygiene kit provided by RSKS India. These 1200 girl children of different rural areas got a new energy and it encouraged them to study more diligently. The feedback also helped RSKS India to know about the impact of the program on the ground and the working of the program which could now usedto do more better planning in future. All the children as well as the parents of the children thanked the donors and RSKS India from the bottom of their heart.

Once again thank you so much for your valuable Support.

Many Regards
