Dear Patron !
RSKS India Family wishes you a Happy MERRY Christmas!
Every year, Children’s Day is celebrated all across India on November 14. This day was chosen to celebrate as Children’s Day in memories of the India’s first prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru, adorably referred to as Chacha Nehru. Nehru celebrated his birthday on November 14. Nehru was a great advocate for children’s right and for an all-inclusive education system where knowledge is accessible to all. He believed that children are the future of the country and the foundation of a society, and hence, everyone’s well-bring should be taken care of. In this context, RSKS India also celebrates the Children’s Day with the children beneficiaries every year.
This year, RSKS India celebrated the Children’s Day with the Pathshala School Girls. Pathshala school is a school where value-based education is given to 10-19 years of age rural girls. This time RSKS India team members went to the Pathshala School to celebrate the children’s day with them. There were many cultural programs and sports activities were organized at the school. The children and the Pathshala teacher made delicious food items which they all together ate. The children who performed well at the cultural activities as well as in sports activities were given awards. The sports activities included of Jalebi Race, Sppon Race, Sack Race, Pot race etc. The school children were also told about the importance of this day which they all listened carefully.
The Pathshala School children got moments of happiness through this program and were so excited while celebrating the program. All the children took participation in all the activities and around 220 girl children from 5 Pathshala Schools celebrated this year’s Children Day with full enthusiasm. This celebration program motivated these children to become someone better in their life. They also got a chance to work together with the teacher to make tasty food for themselves. The girl children got to know about the preciousness of this day. The children will also build a competitive mindset as awards were given to the children who were top in different sports activities so next time other girl children will also do their best. All the children as well as the Pathshala School teachers were so happy to celebrate this day and at the end they all gave their best wishes to RSKS and the donors through which this celebration program was successful.
Once again thank you so much for your valuable Support.
Many Regards
