In many rural areas, children do not have access to quality education, which limits their opportunities for personal and professional growth. Additionally, there is a lack of awareness among children about the significance of national events such as Republic Day, which can lead to a lack of patriotism and national pride. The pandemic has also further exacerbated the situation, with schools closed and children missing out on important cultural and social events.
To address these issues, Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan (RSKS), organized Republic Day Celebration Programs at 5 Pathshala Schools of RSKS India, where adolescent girls come to study. The program included a flag hoisting ceremony by the girl children, followed by cultural activities such as singing and dancing. RSKS India team members also distributed food packets to the children at the end of the program. The celebration program provided an opportunity for children to learn about the significance of Republic Day and instill a sense of patriotism and national pride in them.
The Republic Day Celebration Program organized by RSKS India had a positive impact on the children's lives. The program provided a platform for children to showcase their talents and develop their confidence and self-esteem. It also helped in creating a sense of belongingness and community among the children, which is crucial for their social and emotional development. The distribution of food packets by RSKS India team members also was loved by the children. Moreover, the program helped in promoting the value of education and the importance of national events in the children's lives. RSKS India's initiative has contributed to the holistic development of rural children in Ajmer and has set a positive precedent for others to follow.
