Dear Donors,
Thank you for your interest in the Education for Nigerian Street-Hawking Kids project. At this time, no donations have been received, so plans to support school enrollment and learning materials have not yet begun.
In many parts of Northern Nigeria, children leave school because their families cannot afford basic education costs. Instead of learning in a classroom, they spend their days hawking goods on busy roads and markets.
This exposes them to danger, abuse, and difficult living conditions. Over time, many fall behind in learning and face limited options as they grow older.
This project is designed to support 1,000 children by covering school fees, uniforms, books, and meals. It will also involve working with parents and community leaders to encourage children to stay in school rather than return to street work.
With access to education and basic support, these children can begin to focus on learning and building a better future. It also gives families a reason to keep their children in school instead of sending them out to work.
We appreciate your time in learning about this effort and remain hopeful that support will come so these children can leave the streets and return to the classroom.
Sincerely,
Ugbede-Ojo Dominic Kadiri
