Continued Learning During Covid-19 (and beyond!)

As I type, the Kidspire team in Vietnam is in the classroom in one of our orphanage partners in Mekong Delta facilitating the Cardboard Challenge - a fantastic challenge where teams of student ideate and create using cardboard. It's a great 'maker' focused activity and lots of fun for our students to participate in a globally focused challenge. What a great start to the new 2022-2023 school year.

Over the next several weeks, we'll re-launch in-person classrooms across most of our partner orphanages. Following nearly 2.5 years of mostly virtual classrooms, it will be AWESOME to return to in-person instruction! Thanks to you and support you provided we were so grateful to keep our classes going with cameras and microphones and zoom accounts - but we have to admit that we're more than ready to get back into the classroom with our students.

We are anticipating that 2022-2023 will be a great year!

Though the omicron variant continues cause high case counts across Vietnam, there is a notiecable buzz in the air as schools, businesses, and restaurants have re-opened. The Kidspire teachers are continuing their classes, with some orphanages permitting in-person instruction and others still preferring virtual learning. In balancing all the classes and the hybrid approach to teaching and learning - we realized the need for new staff. The team was stretched too thin and we really needed new staff to help us maintain a high quality of instruction across orphanages. Enter Mai and Hue. These ladies have provided a boost to the entire team and are helping us to be better in every way. They are providing creativity, an outside perspective, and an influx of new ideas and new energy. Welcome to the team!
