As the school year draws to a close in Ecuador we can reflect on huge advances in the education, thanks to our four Phoenix-paid for local teachers in the three communities in which we work. By employing them and also paying for their transport to and from the communities each day we are ensuring the best possible education we can provide for the kids in the remote hamlets in which we work.
During the school break we will be investing in vegetable gardens and chicken coups with the aim to sustainably continue with our daily food and fruit program from September whilst also providing a little extra for the local families. As the new term starts, we aim to continue with our local teachers and hopefully add a couple more to help out in the schools.
Many thanks for your generous support and together we can provide the best possible education for the kids in Ecuador.
