This Giving Tuesday on 28th November we would like you to know where your fantastic donations have gone in the past and will continue going now and in the future, thank you in advance! Daily education isn’t only about the teachers. Each year The Phoenix Projects also strive to provide classroom materials, teaching materials, teachers’ tools, food and fruit, exam papers, graduation costs, celebrations including Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Day of the Child, school trips, transport, cleaning products, cleaners, soaps, toilet rolls, drinking water, first aid, internet, electricity, gas, rent, maintenance and painting, construction, scholarships…and of course, the teachers!
It has been a great few weeks in the school in Ecuador. A minga took place with the parents of the students to mend the roof of the classrooms and Colada Morada was celebrated. School work continues at pace and our Phoenix teacher Nancy has taken responsibility for her second-graders. If all goes well we would like to add two more "Nancy's" in 2018.
I will be touch later in the year to give you a further update and year review, I just wanted to reach out and ask for your help this Giving Tuesday to continue our essential work for the children and the communities now and in the future..
cheers
