Education to empower girls and women

During the last couple of months, we have focused on carrying-out, as well as further developing and enhancing our signature Your Voice, Your Purpose, personal transformation retreats for women. To date we have successfully put through the first three editions of our retreat in a local mountain refuge, healing eco-hostel we have partnered with. As we have embarked on this journey of taking our workshops and most importantly our Cocinando Sueños program and methodology to a fully immersive model, we have observed women going out of our retreats with a greater connection to their true selves and most importantly deeply committed to continue working on their personal development.

According to Nora, one of our participants, she feels like a recharged and revitalized, better person; almost like a whole new person post-retreat. She mentioned the workshops, the ambiance, the mountains, the river, were absolutely wonderful. Participants also highlighted having the workshops take place outdoors surrounded by mountains and rivers really made a difference in their learning experience and mostly in the way they lived the retreat. Being connected with nature allowed them to fully live the experience and evolve and advance in their personal development journey. In addition, students reported the unique combination of spiritual psychology workshops with body movement outdoor activities allowed them to fully experience a mind- body-soul evolution. Finally attendees reported they were able to advance in such a short period of time thanks to the unique semi-personalized model and methodology, as well as the retreat facilitator's unique ability to listen and guide them in their empowerment and mostly spiritual and personal development journey.

All in all, we are honored to say we feel immensely fulfilled by the impact our new nature immersive, semi-personalized workshops and retreats are having on those we serve. We are joyful to see women and men (recently a couple of men who wish to connect more with their feminine energy as well as further support and connect with women in their empowerment and well-being journey) with a greater sense of wellbeing and most importantly thriving while making their dreams come to life.

As we approach the end of the year, financial sustainability continues to be a challenge for us. We are working on further developing our sales and fundraising skills, as we reach out to potential mentors coming from a background of women empowerment nonprofits. We are very grateful for the support we continue to receive from our donors, sponsors, volunteers and partners.  We very much look forward to continuing to receive your generous one time and recurring donations and support such that we can significantly increase our impact.

As we move forward, we look forward to incorporating all the takeaways from our first three retreats and keep the momentum and have our next retreat towards the end of the year or towards the beginning of the year 2024 at the latest.
