Sports is a tool which leveraged properly supports the education of girls. Our project to Empower Girls Through Sports with objective to utilize sports as a platform to promote girls' education, empowerment, and social development.
We partnered with the Saker Baptist College during their Inter-House Sports Competition and used the 2 days event as a platform to educate girls on their Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights (SRHR), Menstruation Hygiene and awarded prizes to winners.
Our Sports programmes Integrate life skills, literacy, and numeracy into sports training sessions. We provide Mentorship and Coaching services to the students and provide professional and trained coaches and mentors to guide and support girls.
Our goal in the forthcoming months is to;
- Build Community Engagement*: Engage parents, teachers, and community leaders to promote girls' education and sports participation.
- Provide Scholarships and Incentives: Offer scholarships, school supplies, and other incentives to encourage girls to stay in school and participate in sports.
