By Priyanka Singh | Project Leader

Dear Friend,
Wishing you and your loved ones a very Happy Diwali!
This Diwali we want to express our gratitude for your unwavering support to the marginalized families and the communities of Rajasthan we help to grow. Thanks to your contributions and trust, we are committed to establishing a safer, fairer, and more dignified setting for the people in vulnerable situations who lack even the most basic necessities of life.
It gives us great confidence to see our work progressing as we receive your donations. Your $100 can supply 10 children with educational resources to continue their studies. Together, we can bring more light to this Diwali for them. We sincerely hope you'll consider a small contribution to brighten a child's Diwali in the challenging tribal areas of Southern Rajasthan.
Thank you and best wishes,
Seva Mandir team

Girl Who Struggled To Get Education: A Story of Success
By Priyanka Singh | Project Associate
![Aarti at Seva Mandir's Bridge School]()
Aarti at Seva Mandir's Bridge School
Aarti, Mukesh's 10-year-old daughter, lives in remote tribal village of Udaipur in south of Rajasthan. Aarti's father is a farmer and mother works as labour. Her father is an alcohol addict and does not care much about her education and wellbeing. Without any motivation and driving force, she dropped out of education. However, with combined efforts of her grandfather and the dedicated teacher at the Seva Mandir’s Bridge School, she got enrolled in the school.
Over the time, Aarti's learning levels improved and her interest in studies deepened. She has a great passion for reading books and expressing herself through Hindi poetry, using heartfelt gestures and emotions. She not only excels academically but also possesses a positive and optimistic outlook on life. She aspires to become a teacher in the future. Her teacher at Seva Mandir's Bridge school constantly guides her to ensure she does not drop out again from school and continues her further education.
It is with the unwavering support we get from supporters like you that enable us to help several children like Aarti not drop out early from education. It only takes $60 to ensure a child attends the school for a year in a difficult tribal area.
Our best wishes to you and, once again, thank you for sending many girls like Aarti to the school. You are now a part of their lives, too.
Kind regards
Ronak Shah

By Priyanka Singh | Project Associate

Dear Friends,
We at Seva Mandir have been working to bring up an education movement in village ecosystems by working with government schools and strengthening their mechanisms. Seva Mandir provides regular trainings to the teachers and school leaders to create a more inclusive and enabling environment for the community children. We share with you a latest testimonial of govt. school principal.
“This training has changed my thinking and has improved my family's harmony. My attitude towards men and women has changed, and I have now started treating them equally. Seeing this shift, people ask why my behavior has changed so much. This training has brought a significant positive change in my life which will help me improve my work as a school Principal. I am so thankful to be associated with Seva Mandir.
-Principal, Upper Primary School, of village area where Seva Mandir provides teacher training for quality education for children.
We thank all our donors for believing our work and helping us achieve milestones. We do hope that you will once again extend your generous support to help us.
Our best wishes to you, and, again, thank you for supporting our marginalized communities. You are now a part of their lives, too.
