Our main goal with this project is creating a base to support our educational program S4S (Skills for Success). This program includes 5 skills that we want to provide to all of our students during the time they are studying at NDG schools. One of these skills or competencies is the correct usage of technological devices.
During 2020 we noticed that it was becoming harder and harder to give our older students the education we want them to have for they were studying and learning through worksheets. We came up with a new project and a brand new goal: buying tablets for our students. With this idea we created a micro project here and participated in the Little by Little Campaign during september, but we were not completely satisfied! We decided then to create a new project with the goal of buying 150 tablets, we used that project for Giving Tuesday last year! We have raised close to US$ 10,000 now!
We will be soon buying some of the tablets and teaching our students how to use them for educational purposes!
