Dear Respected Donor,

Warm greetings from SERUDS!

We extend our heartfelt gratitude for your generous sponsorship in supporting the education of adolescent girls from grades VI to X at Indira Gandhi Memorial Municipal High School, A. Camp, Kurnool. Your thoughtful contributions are making a profound difference in the lives of these young girls, giving them hope, dignity, and the opportunity to build a brighter future.

The girls we serve come from extremely disadvantaged families. Their parents work in physically demanding, low-paying jobs such as tobacco processing, scavenging, daily wage labor, agriculture, construction, plumbing, pottery, and rickshaw pulling. These families face tremendous financial and social challenges in ensuring their daughters receive an education. Sadly, some girls have been pulled out of school due to poverty or because their fathers—often affected by alcohol addiction—force them into child labor as domestic workers.

In response, SERUDS has actively intervened by counseling families and encouraging them to keep their daughters in school. Through dedicated outreach, we have successfully rescued many of these girls from child labor and helped them re-enroll in school. Your timely and compassionate support has been critical in providing these girls with the necessary learning materials and motivation to continue their studies.

The girls, aged 11 to 15, are resilient and deeply committed to their education. We also engage their parents in regular counseling sessions to raise awareness about the dangers of alcoholism and to stress the long-term value of educating their daughters. Our goal is to create a stable and supportive environment that enables these girls to succeed both academically and personally.

Currently, we provide educational kits to a group of 20 girls. These kits include all the essentials: school bags, notebooks, geometry boxes, pens, pencils, lunch boxes, shoes, socks, sketch pens, slates, Oxford dictionaries, writing pads, branded school uniforms (two pairs), and more. These materials not only meet their educational needs but also instill a sense of pride and motivation to pursue their dreams.

Thanks to your continued sponsorship, these girls are smiling again, inspired by the knowledge that someone believes in them. Their academic progress and enthusiasm reflect the meaningful impact your generosity has made. Without your help, providing this level of support to these underprivileged children would not be possible.

We are deeply thankful for your partnership in this noble cause. Together, we are not just supporting education—we are building a generation of confident, empowered young women who are ready to rise above adversity and transform their lives.

With sincere appreciation,
Team SERUDS
