Education Support for Underprivileged Children

As we step into the New Year, we sincerely thank you for your continued generosity and commitment to supporting the education of underprivileged girl children through the esteemed organization GlobalGiving.

With the dedicated efforts of our volunteers, staff, and the school’s academic progress committee, we carefully identify deserving and promising girl students from low-income families studying at Indira Gandhi Memorial Municipal High School, A. Camp, Kurnool. These girls, aged 13 to 16 years and studying in Grades VII to X, have shown commendable academic potential along with active participation in sports and extracurricular activities.

Most of these girls come from families facing severe financial hardships. Their parents work as daily-wage laborers in markets, construction sites, small shops, and local hotels. In many cases, parents are forced to migrate to other towns or cities in search of employment, leaving their daughters in vulnerable situations, often residing in poorly maintained hostels. Recognizing these challenges, SERUDS has consistently stepped forward to ensure that these girls receive the educational support they need to remain in school and pursue their dreams.

Every year, we distribute Educational Material Kits designed to meet their academic needs. Each kit includes:

• Two sets of quality school uniforms

• Shoes and socks

• School bags

• Notebooks (long and short)

• Pens, pencils, erasers, sharpeners

• Geometry boxes and rulers

• Dictionaries

This timely support enables the girls to attend school regularly, concentrate on their studies, and perform better in examinations. Additionally, these kits play a vital role in motivating school dropout girls to re-enroll and continue their education with confidence.

All these positive outcomes are possible because of your kind and timely contributions. Your support is not just providing school supplies—it is opening doors to education, self-confidence, and a brighter future for these young girls.
