Throughout the months, when kids were at home instead of sitting in classrooms due to COVID-19, YOUR support helped to keep students involved and accountable.
Thank You!
Several times through the year, food supplies were delivered to students’ home. Usually students are fed at school, but with schools shut down they now depended on their already struggling families to feed them as well. A tough situation was now made even tougher!
Students, plus other kids in the community, attended the Outreach Day designed to curb the growing teen pregnancy rate rapidly growing while students were not attending school.
Olalo team members were able to meet with students in a variety of settings just to touch base and to talk privately about how the impacts COVID-19 were affecting them and their family life.
Your support encouraged our students and let them know they were cared for, supported and you are cheering them on!
Now our students are back in the classroom and eager to continue their studies.
Thank you for supporting them.
Education will change their lives!
