Recently we did some checking up on students who had their Secondary Education sponsored through Olalo of Hope – Kenya. We wanted to know what they were up to after graduation.
There was quite a mix of responses. Some of the girls have married and are raising families. Some of the young men are working, earning a living by driving trucks, cooking in restaurants and one is an Uber driver in Nairobi!
Quite a few others went on to universities or polytechnic schools for a variety of courses.
Several are studying Building and Construction Technology, Plant Operations, Art & Design courses, Medical Engineering and Education Arts.
Two students were drafted into professional soccer teams in Kenya.
None of these students would have been able to pursue these careers if it weren’t for the support of donors like you.
You gave not only the financial support to get through Secondary School, but also the motivation and confidence to get through school and pursue other avenues to make a better life for themselves and their families.
Thank You for giving them the chance to have a better life.
You’re changing their world!
