Dear Supporter,
Though our projects, we provide educational support and life skills training to children and young people at risk.
Our partner Esther House, Moldova is an After School Centre for vulnerable children. It is a place of learning, fun and childhood for vulnerable children.
The Centre is open five days a week and children arrive after school from 1pm onwards. It is also open during school holidays.
The activities are varied and effective: cooking, well-being, personal hygiene and help with homework.
In many cases parents are working almost all day and cannot help their children with learning, there are also cases where parents cannot help their child because they haven’t gone to school.
The children have tutoring classes in groups. The tutor offers expertise and encouragement, and it is notable that school results are better than those children not attending the Centre.
Many of the children are now feeling more confident and happier to learn.
Thanks to your kind donations, children have a place they feel like home, they gain confidence, can flourish and be open and free.
Thank you
