Over the years we’ve been working with our partners to make sure children have the support they need in order to learn and develop.
Our homework support programs have been helping students learn better and be more confident. We have supported students who had difficulty reading and writing, maths and homework. Some of the children had no one at home to help. We are proud to have seen students gain confidence in reading and change their attitudes towards learning.
Victoria was very shy to read out loud. She would avoid activities which involved reading. Our partners worked with Victoria on her reading skills, and now she is an acute reader. She loves reading stories to the younger children. This is how your support is changing real lives.
Recently the children at Esther House, Moldova prepared cakes and meals for all the pupils attending the Centre. They were so proud and happy to learn a new skill.
