Dear Supporter,
The arrival of spring brings with it the joyous celebration of Martisor on March 1st in Romania, Bulgaria, and Moldova.
It's heart-warming to see children coming together to create and uphold these cherished traditions, making and wearing charm bracelets or brooches made of red and white strings. This Balkan tradition symbolizes the end of winter and is believed to bring health and good fortune to the wearer.
Education holds immense power to transform lives. As Paulo Freire wisely said,'Education does not change the world, Education changes people. People change the world.'
For many children from families at risk, especially those living with relatives like grandparents, educational support is essential. Our programs provide unwavering support, nurturing confidence, and expanding learning opportunities for these children.
Thanks to generous supporters like you, we can continue funding programs that bring learning and joy to children who may not have had the opportunity or support otherwise. Your kindness and dedication are making a tangible difference in the lives of these vulnerable children.
With heartfelt gratitude,
ChildAid to Eastern Europe
