Educational Aid &Life Skills for Children At Risk

On our recent visit to Moldova, we were reminded once again just how powerful your kindness truly is. We saw first-hand the difference your support is making in the lives of children who simply want the chance to learn, grow, and dream.

Thanks to you, rural schools have been able to replace outdated Russian textbooks with modern Romanian books—stories that children can relate to, enjoy, and feel proud of. When we spoke with the pupils, they shared how much more excited they are to read now. Their teachers told us that more children are borrowing books from the library than ever before, and they are already seeing positive changes in reading levels and enthusiasm for learning.

Small things really do matter. In communities where resources are limited, something as simple as a new book or updated learning tool can transform a child’s confidence.

We also visited classrooms equipped with modern electronic whiteboards—another vital resource your donations helped provide. Teachers explained how much this technology improves lessons, keeping children engaged and helping them learn in ways that prepare them for secondary school. Because of you, these young learners won’t feel left behind; they will walk into the next stage of their education with equal skills to their peers in better-resourced schools.

Everywhere we went, we were welcomed with smiles, warmth, and deep gratitude. Teachers from neighbouring schools even travelled to meet us, asking for help for their own pupils—children in rural areas who urgently need support and who deserve the same opportunities as any other child.

With your continued generosity, we want to reach these schools too. Together, we can open more doors, inspire more young minds, and give every child the chance of a brighter future.
