Education is an essential factor in the process of forming individuals and collective human state of mind in which no sustainable human development is possible. However, the promotion of the quality of education for all, with a view to promoting both internal and external efficiency of the education system remains one of the challenges facing African countries of which Togo is no exception. This project is to contribute to provide education and working conditions for orphans in schools.
In Togo, like most developing countries, despite the adoption of the educational reform of 1975, the school system still faces enormous difficulties, particularly the lack of school buildings, the excessive number of students in the classes, insufficient competent human resources, the high dropout rate of girls and orphans in schools, lack of libraries in schools, school supplies and poverty of parents which has greatly affect education for many children especially orphans in Togo.
PROJECT OBJECTIVES - General objects To contribute to promote education and working conditions for orphans to have good all necessary school supplies that can help them to have quality education. Specifically, this project aims to: - Encourage the schooling of orphaned pupils and young girls by providing them school materials and to encourage them to work hard to achive their future goals which will help them contribute to their community and national development;
At the end of the implementation of this project, we expect to have the following results: - Orphans and young girls received good but quality education that will contribute to sustainable human development which will help them to develop their communities and nation as a whole. - Children in rural communities are equiped with all necessary school supplies in order to achieve good academic performances; - Education for young girls in rural communities are promoted.
