Dear Alhassan donors, supporters, and believers,

Thank you for donating to Egyptian Kids on Wheels project. Your donations play a major role in changing kids’ lives. Helping kids developing a positive and healthy attitude towards their physical challenge is the first step towards success and self-realization.

Today we are talking about the success story of one of Alhassan Foundation kids.

At just seventeen, Abdelrahman Mohamed from Alexandria carries a spirit far stronger than his age. Born with Spina bifida, he faced challenges that might have stopped  him. His story is full of courage, faith, and unshakable will to rise.

In 2018, Abdelrahman joined Alhassan Foundation for Differently Abled Inclusionas part of the swimming team. Only four months into training, he surprised everyone by winning his first bronzemedal at the Egyptian National Championship. Later same year, he took part in his first wheelchair race in Ismailia ( East of Egypt ) , where he not only won the first race but also caught the attention of the Minister of Youth and Sports, who honored him for his remarkable achievement.

The following year, 2019, was a turning point. Abdelrahman received a customized wheelchair through the Alhassan foundation’s that dramatically effected his independence and performance.

In 2025, as he grew, his chair was replaced with a larger one to keep up with his ambitions.

Over the years, Abdelrahman has collected  55 medals in swimming and wheelchair racing at the National Championships and Egypt Cup. But his success doesn’t end in the pool or on the track. He’s also a top student. Ranked third in school . In 2025 he joined the first junior wheelchair basketball team of Alhassan Foundation, adding another chapter to his athletic journey.

Today, Abdelrahman dreams of becoming a world champion—to raise Egypt’s flag high. he also want to prove that no challenge is too great when you have determination, family, and faith. With the support of his parents and Alhassan Foundation, he’s moving steadily toward that dream, one race and one victory at a time.

We want to thank every donor or supporter who helps us to achieve this success and we urge you to continue supporting us.  our hope, Please subscribe to the monthly donation option, which helps us secure more funds to help more wheelchairs users to achieve their dreams.
