More Than a Visit - A Lesson in Humanity

By Nour Elmasry | Digital Marketing Specialist

Dear Alhassan donors, supporters, and believers,

Thank you for donating to Egyptian Kids on Wheels project. Your donations play a major role in changing kids’ lives. Helping kids developing a positive and healthy attitude towards their physical challenge is the first step towards success and self-realization.

“Every child has the right to have a happy childhood.”

It may sound like a simple sentence, but for us, it is a belief we carry in our hearts and strive to fulfill every single day.

At Alhassan Foundation, our children are not just training or participating in activities — they are living their childhood to the fullest. They laugh wholeheartedly, race each other in their wheelchairs with excitement, compete, make mistakes, learn, and dream big — just like any other child. Because we truly believe that difference is never a limitation — it is a unique strength.

That is why we always respond to invitations from institutions that genuinely believe in inclusion — not just as a slogan, but as a real practice. We were honored to accept a kind invitation from German Sisters School – Bab El Louk, where our children were welcomed with open hearts and warm smiles.

From the very first moment they entered the school, there was a special energy in the air. Curious eyes met, shy smiles turned into laughter, and hands reached out in friendship. They played together, laughed together, and participated in sports and creative activities side by side. In those moments, no one saw “differences” — they simply saw new friends.

It was truly moving to witness: a child gently helping another push a wheelchair, groups gathering around simple games filled with joyful laughter, and spontaneous words of encouragement echoing across the playground. These small yet powerful moments remind us that inclusion is not just a policy — it is a culture, a mindset, and a shared humanity.

That day was not just a visit. It was a living lesson in acceptance, compassion, and equality — a reminder that when communities open their doors, children lead the way in showing us what true inclusion looks like.

Our sincere thanks and appreciation go to the German Sisters School – Bab El Louk for their generous invitation and warm hospitality, and to every institution that supports our mission to spread awareness and promote the inclusion of persons with disabilities in society.

Together, we can build a community that sees ability in every difference.
Together, we ensure that every child — without exception — has the right to a happy childhood.

We want to thank every donor or supporter who helps us to achieve this success and we urge you to continue supporting us.  our hope, Please subscribe to the monthly donation option, which helps us secure more funds to help more wheelchairs users to achieve their dreams.
