Recently, we embarked on a heartfelt mission to distribute basic meat rations to approximately 20 displaced families who have made the camp their temporary home. We are deeply grateful for your unwavering support and generosity in our mission to alleviate the suffering of those displaced by the ongoing war in Syria. We wanted to take a moment to update you on the impact of your contributions and express our heartfelt appreciation.

As you know, the tragic situation faced by the residents of Syria is no secret. Families are living in makeshift tents, enduring harsh weather conditions without adequate protection. The challenges of finding employment and securing a sustainable livelihood further compound their struggles. It is especially difficult for the children, who require proper nourishment to overcome these challenging circumstances.

That is why the Umut team recently arrived at Deir Hassan camp in Northern Syria, with a mission to provide essential meat rations to the approximately 73 displaced families residing there. Your generous contributions have enabled us to distribute meat to each family based on the number of its members. This vital sustenance will go a long way in helping the children and elderly strengthen their bodies and improve their overall well-being.
