We will provide food, medical care and other needs of elderly women who otherwise are left behind with support. In ultra-poor families, old women are sometimes left-out as resources are prioritized to other family members. This is most true with the access to food and medical care. We will make it a point to help them within our project areas.
Elderly women are sometimes uncared for especially with ultra-poor families where the members themselves struggle to provide food and sustenance for all of them. There are cases where the elderly especially women are left out in the sharing of food and other resources and there is a need to supply them with basic essentials.
We will identify them and ensure that they are provided with the care and maintenance needed by them. This will be in the form of food, maintenance medicine, medical care and the supply of basic essentials they particularly request.
Elderly women need care and support and the happiness and well-being of the communities where they are living is assured if we do this. Elderly women as well as men are repository of community knowledge and this is very important indeed.
