Dear Donors,
We sincerely thank the donors who have supported the Eliminate Hunger in Nigeria Through Youth Farming project. Your support shows care for families facing food shortages and young people seeking a way to earn a living. We truly appreciate the contributions received so far, however, the funds available at this time are still not enough to begin the farming activities.
In many rural communities, land is available but young people lack the means to farm. Without seeds, tools, or basic support, they are unable to grow food, while families continue to face rising food costs and limited access to fresh produce.
This gap leaves many households struggling to meet their daily food needs. At the same time, unemployed youth miss the opportunity to engage in productive work that could support both their families and their communities.
This project is designed to support 3,000 youth with training, farm inputs, and access to land so they can begin crop production. The harvest will help feed households and provide income through local markets.
With the right support, these young farmers can increase food supply, reduce hunger in their communities, and build a steady source of income for themselves.
We are grateful for the support already shown toward this effort. With additional contributions, it will be possible to move forward and begin farming activities that can benefit many families.
Sincerely,
Ugbede-Ojo Dominic Kadiri
