People are tired, but cannot surrender to a new enemy. The lockdown caused a sharp rise in the prices of basic necessities; the population is exhausted, many have lost their jobs and no longer have the means to survive.
Together with our local contacts we are in fact supporting the most needy families by distributing, in addition to what we already provide with remote support, milk powder for the most small and basic necessities.
The Covid-19 epidemic has shown how we are all linked by the same destiny, and how fragile each person is in his human dimension. For us in Aleimar, children are the first people to be protected.
