This project will deliver 2,000 emergency hygiene kits to vulnerable families in rural Nigeria. Each kit includes soap, disinfectant, toothpaste, toothbrushes, and menstrual supplies to prevent disease and restore dignity. Your support helps protect women and children from preventable illness and promotes healthier communities.
Many low-income families in rural Nigeria cannot afford basic hygiene items. Poor sanitation increases the spread of preventable diseases such as diarrhea, cholera, and skin infections. Women and girls lack menstrual hygiene products, forcing school absenteeism and health risks. Without intervention, poor hygiene deepens poverty, illness, and vulnerability in already fragile communities.
We will distribute 2,000 hygiene kits directly to vulnerable households through community outreach and local partners. Each kit contains essential hygiene supplies designed to support a family for several months. Community sensitization sessions will accompany distribution to promote proper hygiene practices, disease prevention, and sustainable sanitation habits.
Our long-term goal is to reduce hygiene-related illnesses, improve school attendance for girls, and strengthen community resilience. By improving access to basic sanitation supplies and education, families can live healthier, more dignified lives. This project builds the foundation for healthier communities and long-term poverty reduction.
