Dear our beloved Donors,
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for helping us acquire, design and fuel our ambulance. This ambulance is FREE of charge and it operates 24/7.
The ambulance is helping us during emergencies like a child that is convulsing, mother in labor, accidents, referrals, burns and patients on oxygen. We also have a toll free helpline written at the back of our ambulance that helps with easy communication incase of emergencies so this way the caller does not have to have credit/ airtime to call for help.
We also help with referrals from one hospital to another, for example, on the 9th.11.2023, we received a call from a cancer palliative center to help them transfer a patient to the main hospital called Mulago to the cancer unit for further management. We also use the ambulance to take patients for xrays and cardiac echoes.
In the month of December we managed to transport over 42 patients in our ambulance that called for emergencies and we managed to save their lives.
We really can not stretch how much of an importance this ambulance has been to us and the community. Thank you so much and may you all be blessed abundantly.
Happy new year our beloved friends.
