This report will summarize the progress made for the months of March, April, and May. Up to date, this program has managed to support over 13278 vulnerable children thanks to our donors and other partners, the task is not over yet many vulnerable children still need your assistance.
During this period The Ngao Foundation carried out nutrition assessment and administration of vitamin A to children under the age of 5 years. These activities were done in collaboration with the local health centre. These activities aimed to track those children who are experiencing cases of malnutrition and provide the necessary assistance to them and their families.
Over 185 children were given vitamin A and deworming tablets, out of 185, 25 were found to be malnourished. Their parents were contacted to discuss how they can be supported to ensure that these children are well fed.
CHALLENGES.
The number of children coming to get food at The Ngao Foundation has increased a lot since they can't be ignored, The ngao Foundation has fed them but this effort has been enough because even during holidays these children are at the foundation seeking food. Due to our limited resources, we are struggling to feed these children, that is why we are urging you to support us even more. Refer your friends, colleagues and families to be part of this great cause, your donations and support will be highly appreciated.
