Alkhidmat Foundation dispatched a humanitarian relief consignment from Islamabad to Sri Lanka to support families affected by the 2025 floods. Story / Update
Following the devastating floods in Sri Lanka in 2025, thousands of families were left facing severe humanitarian challenges, including displacement, loss of belongings, and limited access to essential supplies.
In response, Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan, with the support of the Government of Pakistan, dispatched relief assistance from Islamabad to Sri Lanka by sea. The humanitarian consignment contains essential items designed to meet the immediate needs of flood-affected families.
The relief supplies include tents, blankets, life jackets, lamps, mosquito nets, baby milk, essential medicines, and other necessary items. These supplies will help affected families cope with difficult post-flood conditions and provide protection, warmth, healthcare, and essential support.
