Devastating floods in Turkiye have left families facing urgent humanitarian needs. For centuries, Georgia and Turkiye have shared close neighborly ties. Through this emergency crowdfunding initiative, SIKETIS NERGI aims to mobilize international solidarity and help affected families access essential supplies, hygiene products, and basic necessities. Together, we can turn centuries of friendship into meaningful humanitarian support.
Severe flooding in Turkiye has caused loss of life, damaged homes, and disrupted the lives of affected families. Many households face urgent needs for food, clean water, hygiene supplies, clothing, and essential household items. For vulnerable families, recovering from a disaster can be especially difficult without timely assistance. Immediate humanitarian support is needed to help affected communities meet basic needs and begin rebuilding their lives.
SIKETIS NERGI (Sapling of Kindness), a Georgian nonprofit organization, will mobilize crowdfunding donations to support flood-affected families in Turkiye. Working with verified local partners, we plan to identify urgent needs and provide essential food, drinking water, hygiene products, clothing, blankets, and basic household supplies. Assistance will prioritize vulnerable households, with transparent documentation of funds raised and support delivered.
This project aims to help flood-affected families regain stability, reduce the financial burden of replacing essential belongings, and take their first steps toward recovery. Beyond immediate relief, it will strengthen humanitarian solidarity between Georgia and Turkiye, two neighboring countries connected by centuries of shared history and human relationships. By bringing individual donors together across borders, we hope to demonstrate the lasting impact of community-driven generosity.
