PROJECT END
By Noel Banda | Project Leader
Chinseu Community Based Organisation management, Board of Trustees, Beneficiaries of this project and the community has agreed to ask for permission from GlobalGiving to delete this project: emergency help to the victims of heavy rains for the following reasons:
- Most of the inteded beneficiaries has sorted their problems using different mechanisms they finds around the area and the problem is not big a priority or big to be looked into.
- The project has run into the next rainy season and we haver to prepare for refresh the plans as we can again experience the same problem and it is not on for the management team to go into the field and collecting the problem data while the previous problem is not solved.
Therefore the Board of Trustees and the Management team has decided to delete this project and this shall be the last report on the progress report. Chinseu Community Based Organisation is thanking all donors that were supporting this project that all your supports towards this project has been a great change to this disaster project as 25 Families were supported with Roofing Plastic sheets, 10 beneficiaries received bags of maize flour one bag each, 25 households received plastic pails one pail each household. PROJECT REPORT
By Noel Banda. | Project Leader.
The emergency help to victims of heavy rains project is currently meeting financial challenges that Chinseu has managed to achieve small part of the project as the project has taken long without receiving donations from well wishers and donors as of now the Chinseu CBO is doing local fundraisings for the Office construction and the Day Care Centre Block Building and We still asking well wishers to join us in raising and filling the financial remaining gaps.
For the community that were affected by the heavy rains in different ways Chinseu has managed to help a small number of the targeted beneficiaries as of now but we hope the work shall produce good results as we are going on and we still encourage our community not to loose hope of being helped as once we receive the donations we shall reach them with the help we received.
On our Day Care Orphaned Children that were using the Office block that was damanged with heavy rains we still caring them at a borrowed house that the owner is yet to use as it was not yet finished on floor and window frames and doors. We hope the time the owner want to start his final work on his house we shall be in a position of alocating our Day Care work to another place or to our newly to build blocks. This is wh we are asking Our DONORS to join us on raising these funds through this project on Globalgiving US site.
