Pregnant women and new mothers in Ghana often face life-threatening emergencies but lack the financial and logistical support to access urgent care. This project provides immediate maternal health support to ensure women receive timely, life-saving medical services during pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period.
Maternal health emergencies such as severe bleeding, infections, high blood pressure, and obstructed labor require immediate medical attention. However, many women delay care due to cost, distance, and lack of transportation, increasing the risk of preventable complications and maternal deaths.
By removing financial and access barriers during maternal emergencies, this project ensures women receive immediate care, preventing complications and saving lives.
This project will reduce maternal mortality, improve newborn outcomes, and strengthen maternal health systems, leading to healthier families and communities across Ghana.
