20,000 Hot Meals for Displaced People in Lebanon

During the recent war crisis in Lebanon, shareQ NGO mobilized emergency food assistance to support displaced individuals and families residing in shelters across regions of the country. In a context marked by heightened insecurity, mass displacement, and disrupted access to basic services, timely humanitarian food support became essential. 

Thanks to the generous trust and support of our donors on the GlobalGiving Platform, a total of $11,053.80 was received and fully allocated to emergency meal production and distribution activities.

The intervention focused on providing immediate relief through the daily preparation and delivery of cooked lunch and dinner meals to shelters hosting displaced populations, ensuring consistent access to safe, nutritious, and ready-to-eat food during a critical period of instability. 

As a result, 4,421 meals were produced and distributed, directly contributing to reducing severe food insecurity, decreasing the financial burden on vulnerable displaced households, and improving living conditions within shelters.

shareQ NGO continues to prepare and distribute cooked meals to displaced individuals and families in need, responding to ongoing humanitarian needs across Lebanon. To date, the organization has prepared and distributed 116,963 in 2026 as a direct emergency response to the war in Lebanon, reaching a cumulative total of 1,000,000 meals since 2018, demonstrating its sustained commitment to ensuring vulnerable communities have continued access to nutritious food assistance.

Thanks to your generous support, we were able to deliver this intervention to those most affected by the crisis in Lebanon. Beyond meeting immediate nutritional needs, this response helped preserve dignity and provide stability for families facing sudden displacement and uncertainty.
