Dear Donors,
Thank you for your generosity and commitment to the health and survival of displaced children in Nigeria. Your support brings hope to young lives facing extreme hardship and hunger.
Nigeria is home to over 3.3 million internally displaced persons (IDPs), many of them children living in overcrowded camps in Borno, Benue, Yobe, Zamfara, and other affected areas. These children often lack steady access to food and healthcare, leaving them at high risk of severe malnutrition, stunted growth, and preventable death. The “Emergency Nutrition for 5,000 IDP Children, Nigeria” project will provide ready-to-use therapeutic food, fortified cereals, and essential vitamins to help 5,000 children regain strength, grow healthily, and reduce the risk of illness and mortality associated with malnutrition.
While the donations received so far are greatly appreciated, they are not sufficient to launch the project immediately. Additional support is needed to procure nutrition supplies, organize distribution, and reach the children most in need. With full backing, this initiative will save lives, strengthen children’s growth and development, and relieve the immense pressure on humanitarian and healthcare services in the camps.
Warm regards,
Ugbede-Ojo Dominic Kadiri
