Dear all
last Fab 2023 we started the new stage on this project using the found from hope in crisis by GG Through the restoration of 3 houses that were damaged by torrential rains in remote villages in Al-Mahweet Governorate, northwest of Yemen,The project has been launch on Nov - Dec 2022 by providing urgent relief to those affected, "especially poor families" by floods or disasters, through distribution of shelter materials for families such as blankets and sponge mattresses in proportion to the situation as an urgent first stage, the work team will seek to continue the relief if the necessary support and donations are available as well mitigating damages and helping those affected to recover from disasters and floods.

The project has been launch on Nov - Dec 2022 by providing urgent relief to those affected, "especially poor families" by floods or disasters, through distribution of shelter materials for families such as blankets and sponge mattresses in proportion to the situation as an urgent first stage, the work team will seek to continue the relief if the necessary support and donations are available as well mitigating damages and helping those affected to recover from disasters and floods.
Challenge
A report issued by the UN in Yemen stated that "preliminary reports issued by local authorities and humanitarian partners in Yemen indicate that 77 people, including children, were killed as a result of rain and floods that hit 85 districts in16 governorates". The report stated these "victims lost their wrestlers during the period from July 28 to August 10". It added "it was monitored that 35,000 families were affected by heavy rains and floods the majority of which were displaced families".
Solution
The project aims to provide urgent relief to those affected, "especially poor families" by floods or disasters, in proportion to the situation. as well mitigating damages and helping those affected to recover from disasters and floods.
