This project will try to respond to the primary needs of many beneficiaries who live in Gubrye , rural Gurabbe area , who are going throught a very difficult period.
Since 1st case of coronavirus reported in Ethiopia on March, the situation is changing rapidly. This pandemic strongly affects food system both directly, through impacts on food supply and demand, and indirectly through decreases in purchasing power, the capacity to produce and distribute food. Our communities face multiple problems: they have very poor agricultural production, large families and poor access for nutritious food and safe water.
The project aims to give hope for the affected part of the community and rehabilitate this people from this crises. We want to help 500 extremely poor families to have at least one healthy meal a day during this emergency period (cereals grain, pulse, and fortified oil) and provide them with sanitary material (soap, masks and disinfectants).
This project will enable several members of the community to have one healthy meal per day and to protect adults and children from the pandemic with health facilities and sensibilisation.
