The Ramadan camp in the Arsal area in Wadi Arnab was exposed to a fire at eight o'clock in the evening on 03/19/2024. The fire led to the complete burning of 20 tents out of 40, in addition to the partial burning of 9 tents. The fire caused 5 cases of suffocation and one woman suffered severe burns. We will work to provide alternative tents for the affected families, in addition to clothing, water, and food.
A camp fire containing 40 tents for Syrian refugees in Lebanon, in the Arsal area. 40 families are now homeless and have lost their belongings and food.
The project is a rapid response that will focus on urgent, temporary solutions, including providing alternative housing for affected families and providing them with food and water.
The rapid response will have a long-term impact by supporting and assisting Syrian refugees and protecting them from being forced to return to Syria when there is no shelter for their families, thus threatening their lives.
