It's been a few years now and life really is getting back to normal for everyone including those on our projects, teams are now back out and about doing there thing however COVID really put us steps back in our targets to tackle the United Nations SDG's by 2030.
As well as this Governments pre-COVID were also committed to these goals however since COVID they have all gone quiet and parked their strategies so we now find ourselves with no Government support, governments crippling people with tax that people can't donate to charities while others knock on our door needing us to help them.
We have decided to keep fundraising for this project as any donations to this project is allowing us to channel funding to projects that are finding themselves crippled doe to the COVID fall out. To date we have covered urgent funding for salaries to ensure nobody lost their job due to COVID and the funding decline, we also provided care packs to all our staff that remain on lower salaries 3 years after COVID as the projects started again from stratch. We are proud not to have lost one project or staff member since the pandemic but we need to focus on building new strategies as funding has significantly changed due to the cost of living and with little sign of this changing we can nolonger rely on traditional methods of fundraising
