For thousands of families in Lebanon, the emergency is far from over.
CVC Charity continues to support families whose lives have been disrupted by displacement, destruction, and loss. Our response is currently reaching both returnee families who have begun going back to their communities, including households with children and older people, and families who remain displaced because their homes have been destroyed or are still unsafe to return to. For many of these families, returning home has not meant returning to normal life. They are facing damaged homes, limited resources, and significant challenges meeting their most basic needs.
Through the Lebanon Cannot Wait emergency response, we continue to provide assistance based on families' evolving needs, helping them navigate this difficult transition and supporting those who remain among the most vulnerable. Children in particular continue to carry the effects of displacement and conflict, while older people and families who have lost their homes face additional barriers to recovery. Our teams remain present in the communities we serve, identifying needs and adapting our response as circumstances change.
But the need is still high. Many families remain displaced, many homes have yet to be fully restored, and countless children are still living with the consequences of the crisis. As families move from immediate emergency needs toward recovery, sustained support is essential to help them rebuild their lives with dignity and security.
Your continued support can help CVC Charity remain there for families who are still displaced, those returning to damaged communities, and children who continue to need support. Together, we can help turn return into recovery and ensure that the families most affected by the crisis are not left behind.
