Thank you for your generous donation to Chennai flood relief work through esteemed organization globalgiving.
Your generosity helped us to provide relief and rehabilitation work such as food, clothes, during the heavy & continued rains for days together, food groceries, bed sheets, note books, bags, health camps, medicines, EDP trainings to the victims of flood survivors in Chennai, Tiruvallur and Kancheepuram districts.
Now we are giving trainings in various skills, mainly sewing, embroidery, petty shop business etc in different locations. This provision can giv them a income to come out of poverty.8 Tribal people lost their huts in one hamlet. Now we are under process of reconstruction of huts with permanent walls. One school water tank compltely damaged. with your generous support we are constructing. School children were provided with school fee, school kit etc.
This kind of marvelous relief work have happened because of globalgiving and you, we thank you for what you did to do all this things.
One of our beneficiary child said “I am fromsusaipuram. my books and writing materials were completely damaged during chennai floods. our house was collapsed. we have given shelter in community hall and provided meals, medicines and clothing, After that CHHASE has provided me and our village children school kit. Now in june we got school fee since there is no government school nearby.We will remember this life long. Thank you”.
