Thank you for your generous donation to Chennai flood relief work through esteemed organization globalgiving.
Your generous contribution helped us to provide relief and rehabilitation work to the victims of flood survivors in Chennai, Tiruvallur and Kancheepuram districts. Initially we provided food,safe drinking water and clothing to the victims of floods. CHHASE has provided self employment business to 30 women. We have provided awareness on entreprenure development to 350 women and youth to start low cost business. A total of 5 pucca houses constructed, 4 houses repaired and 8 huts constructed with solid block walls with cemented flooring for tribals.1500 children are provided with school bags,note books and writing materials.Health checkups to 500 people were organized.

One of our beneficiary said “My name is Govindamma. I am from tribal community.I am living in Thirumanikppam, thiruvallur district.During December heavy rains, our hut was completely collapsed. My family consist of 5 members lived in it. Our hut was in low level area. We have been given shelter by CHHASE NGO. Now they have made five feet high walls with solid blocks and covered with thatched leaves. Our family thanks CHHASE NGO and it’s donors for saving us from this horror. We will remember this help in life long. Thank you”.
