MOVING FORWARD WITH ENTHUSIASM

By Margarita Pilier | Project Coordinator

Dear Donors:

May you receive a cordial greeting.  We would like to take advantage of this time to express our gratitude for your support, it really means a lot to us. Thank you for trust us.

We continue working to turn the Emergency Unit into reality, which will make a great difference in the lives of those most in need in our tourist zone for whom this Community Health Center is the only option in terms of primary health care. No doubt the lack of a suitable emergency unit can cause loss of lives.

We are currently involved in the purchasing of the most needed furniture and medical equipment:

  • Otoscope
  • Digital thermometer
  • Suture tools
  • Sphygmomanometer
  • Glucometer
  • Sterilization trays
  • Tray holders
  • One Desk and one chair for the doctor at the consultation room
  • chairs for the patients at the consultation room
  • Sphygmomanometer
  • X-ray viewer equipment
  • Stretchers
  • Suturing tools
  • Others

As part of the first stage of the project, in order to open the Emergency Unit very soon.

Please see pictures attached of some acquired items, which have not been placed in the emergency unit yet.

This and all the reports to follow will update you periodically on our progress.

We hope to count on the support of generous people like you to carry out the next stages of the project.

If you have any comments, advice or questions please do not hesitate to contact to us and we will try to answer them as best we can.

Thank you very much for your generosity

 Warm regards,
