This project will support low-income families, internally displaced people, elderly people in most disadvantaged areas in Ukraine by supporting them with covering their basic needs.
Following the brutal Russian invasion of Ukraine, thousands of civilians were forced to evacuate to safer regions. The ongoing war, instability, and lack of adequate housing-due to the inability to secure stable employment-continue to negatively impact an already vulnerable population that has suffered greatly since the war escalated in 2022. This project will support thousands of Ukrainians in the southern regions of Ukraine, providing them with essential needs.
IBC will provide first aid kits, food, bread, essential baby items, clean water to individuals and families who have fled the war and struggle to access these necessities. Civilians will also be provided with psychological support to help them cope with trauma. Additionally, this project will support fueling the ovens in our mobile bakeries that provide 15000 loaves of bread weekly to families in need.
Continuous access to food, bread, clean water and basic necessities will support health and prevent diseases, while psychological support will help internally displaced families heal from their trauma. Through these initiatives, IBC intends to lay the foundation for a more stable and hopeful future for displaced Ukrainian communities.
