By Abubakar Suleiman | Programme Coordinator
Dear Supporters, Family and Friends of Serendipity,
Some months ago we concluded on the first batch of training on organic poultry and livstock production for 40 young women and 10 young men in partnership with Young Africa Works (Mastercard Foundation) and Enterprise Developement Center. We included males at the instance of the district heads of the local councils in Kano due to getting young men off the streets and become gainfully employed.
The next phase of our programme which will run for six months will start on the 4th Of August on the issue of growth goals/climate change as it affects agriculture and follow up on all they have been taught, If there are any issues in terms of funding and all.
Due to the rising surge of the new strain of COVID 19 (Delta 2 Strain) found in Nigeria, we have taken measures to make the programme virtual as we want everyone to stay safe.
Collation of data is still ongoing in the form of survey prior to the start of the programme which we would report back to the house on our findings.
We want to thank you for your continued support and confidence reposed in us in empowering our young women on agriculture and in growing their skills.
You can visit our website to learn more Serendipity Healthcare Foundation or social media handles on LinkedIN, Facebook, Instagram or give us a call on 2347030630118.
Thank you,
Abubakar Suleiman
