Our project in Kano has been a resounding success over the past five years. Since its inception, the project has trained over 1,500 women and youths in technical skills, vocational skills, and basic entrepreneurial skills, enabling them to start and grow their own businesses. As the world becomes increasingly digital, we have adapted our training programs to equip women entrepreneurs with the skills they need to thrive in the digital economy.

In 2025, we launched a new initiative to train women entrepreneurs in foundational digital skills and artificial intelligence. Through our partnership with Microsoft, ITC, and ILO, we are currently training 17 women entrepreneurs using the Women in Digital Business platform. This training program is designed to equip women with the skills they need to leverage digital tools and technologies to grow their businesses and increase their online presence.

Thus far, the women entrepreneurs in our program have started using digital tools to improve their businesses. They have gained a basic understanding of digital marketing, e-commerce, and online business management. Upon completion of the program, they will be adept in digital usage, enabling them to:

 - Develop and implement effective digital marketing strategies

- Create and manage online businesses

- Leverage artificial intelligence and other digital tools to improve business efficiency and productivity

We believe that collaboration is key to further enhancing the skills of our women entrepreneurs. We thus invite organizations, businesses, and individuals to partner with us to provide additional training, mentorship, and resources to support the growth and development of our women-led businesses. Together, we can empower women and youths in Kano to become leaders in the digital economy.

We plan to continue and expand our digital skills training program to reach more women entrepreneurs. We will also explore new partnerships and collaborations to provide additional support and resources to our beneficiaries.

Our project has made significant strides in equipping women and youths with the skills they need to succeed in business. As we move forward, we are committed to leveraging digital technologies to further empower women entrepreneurs and support their growth and development. We look forward to collaborating with like-minded organizations and individuals to achieve our goals.
