Dear Family, Friends and Supporters of Serendipity,
Every day you see young women and men on the streets walking around aimlessly, They have finished tertiary education and no jobs in the pipelines. This puts stress on the society leading them into vices.
In order to ensure that we keep our youths off the streets, we entered into a collaborative agreement with two organisations with a goal to ensure our youths (young men and women between the ages of 18-35 years) are empowered with basic entreprenuerial skills preparing them for the business world.
We are poised to do this for five years and thus far trained over 3,000 young men and women in Kano on entreprenuerial skills such as financial management, ICT in agribusiness, emotional Intelligence to menetion a few.
Three success stories worth of note are Faiza, Zakariyya and Nasir stories as they have kick started their business using the knowledge gotten from the trainings and now make a profit of $174 before tax monthly, pitched for a grant and was availed.
