Dear Family, Friends and Supporters of Serendipity Healthcare Foundation,

Inflation has increased the rate of poverty in Nigeria by 70% as the cost of basic needs has increased and people are finding it difficult to cope with little or no purchasing power. Crime rate has increased amongst youths thus causing a strain on the available security forces. There is a clear and imminent danger of hunger and poverty that is looming in Nigeria.

In our hope to ensure that we at Serendipity reduces the rate of poverty and hunger in Kano, we entered into a partnership with a corporate organization to train youths in agriculture on digital inclusion and technology into their agribusiness. Five businesses were selected for the training that at the end of the program a micro grant of $1,200.00 would be given to the winner of the pitch.

A face to face training for five days for three team members of each five business was done then on the six day they were asked to create a pitch deck and present on inclusion of digital and technology in their business. Mixed Condiments owned by Aisha (not real name) (her business is into the processing of tomato paste and sauces) won the pitch!!

With your kind donations, we have thus far trained over 55 farmers and now with the partnership we have formed, we would do more this new year 2024 to empower more of our women and youths.
